What an utterly positive action these people are undertaking. I fought for a few years back in the day to keep BCCA out of the hands of the council and in the hands of the people of Boscombe who need the facility far more than another block of soulless apartments and houses, and I am delighted to see the next generation of people in the suburb keeping the pressure on Bourne Avenue Bureaucrats.
Sad to say Jon and I don’t live in Bournemouth anymore but we still look on with interest and wish everyone involved in keeping this fabulous centre living and breathing the very best of luck.

Goodness knows where Bournemouth Council stand from a legal aspect relating to the original gift by the Shelley family member. Wasn’t there a covenant?
Hopefully we can pull together on Mr Camerons much maligned ‘Big Society’.
